To view the video of Dean's wonderful speech here in Seattle, follow these steps:

1. Go to www.apple.com/quicktime/products/qt/.
2. Click the little link for “QuickTime 6” at right.
3. Click the “Download” button – you don’t have to register.
4. Click “Yes” when the window pops up.
5. Click “next” to get through the screens – skip the screen that asks for a product number (just click next).
6. If you know you use a proxy, click the button there. But usually, only corporate connections have a proxy, so if you’re in doubt, leave that unchecked.
7. The whole process takes about 2-3 minutes tops on a cable modem. On a dialup connection it might take 5-6 minutes.
8. When you’re done, right-click this link: ourownmedia.com/copper/HowardDeanSeattleQT1.mov. (Click the right-side mouse button (not the usual mouse button – the opposite one). This brings up a menu.) Choose “Save target as…” and specify a place on your computer where you wish to save this movie. Allow several minutes to download.
9. Once the movie is downloaded, double-click the file, which is named HowardDeanSeattleQT1.mov and it will open by itself into QuickTime.
10. Enjoy the Governor’s speech!

I've been busy busy busy. I saw there was a Dean Fundraiser in town and offered the organizer my help as a volunteer. He was so happy to have the offer. Today I completed making a set of calls to a list of people he gave me to remind them of the event. I'm looking forward to meeting more Dean Supporters. If you're in the Seattle area, the fundraiser will be held at The Capitol Club (414 East Pine) in Seattle from 5pm onwards this Thursday, May 29th. Any amount will get you in the door. Should be very fun. A celebrity from a reality show, Danny Roberts from The Real World - New Orleans, will be there as well. And the place looks absolutely lovely. Can't wait!
